They offer some nice checking and business checking accounts in addition to their savings accounts which they are famous for (great interest rates).

I like ING Direct's "branch less" system which allows them to keep costs low and do almost everything online. It feels like an advancement from traditional banking which has been slow to move online and is not very consumer friendly.
