This is quite possibly the worst web browser available right now.

Web developer tools, ad blocking, and script blocking are what keep Firefox at the top. Until other browsers embrace extensions, I don't see how they could top Firefox.

Top 3 Pros:
* Extremely low cost of living
* It's like the New York City of Viet Nam. There are always people outside doing things.
* The local food is unbeatable.
Top 3 Cons:
* It's noisy, people have no clue what personal space is, and basic civil pride (i.e. cleanliness) is almost nonexistent
* It's still a developing city, so there are frequent power outages during business hours
* You really need to speak the language to connect with locals. English is slowly, but surely, gaining popularity

I have a very love/hate relationship with Lonely Planet. Like Brian said, a lot of the information is outdated, and I can't always trust what's written. Thomas Kohnstamm is one notable ex-writer who admitted that he never went to Colombia, and he wrote the in-country guide!
