Extremely unreliable where I am. Goes down several times per week, if not per day. Is there any alternative to this company?

Safari is definitely clean and usable - perhaps the best from strictly a user interface point of view. However, it is edged out by Firefox in my opinion simply because of the plugins that come with Firefox and the additional functionality there.

I've been pretty happy with Lonely Planet too, although there is a continual problem of information being slowly outdated. I keep thinking they will eventually need to move to an online model that is constantly updated.

For BA I'm leaving a neutral review. Inflation has caused a doubling in prices here over the last few years, so while it is still significantly cheaper than the U.S. it's not the bargain it once was. Buenos Aires is an exciting city full of culture and things to do (a poor many's New York City) but at times you are reminded that you are still in the developing world. Don't be surprised if internet is sometimes unreliable or you see more signs of poverty than you're used to (abundant stray dogs, homeless women breast feeding in the streets, etc). People are friendly, the city is generally safe, and you can certainly grab some amazing steaks and wine at a fraction of the cost in the U.S. Many people also speak English and it's certainly possible (although not necessarily easy) to get by without knowing any Spanish at all. Buenos Aires is an exciting place to be if you'd like to try living abroad and a good bargain, but still a little rough around the edges at times.

With MS Adcenter you can place ads on Bing.com and some other MS sites like msn.com. Overall, I've been pretty unimpressed with it. It doesn't scale well to handling large numbers of ads and campaigns, importing ads is a nightmare, and their Desktop tool has a variety of problems which make it practically unusable. When I import campaigns now I have to speak with a "Microsoft Business Team" employee to assist in each change...obviously this is highly inefficient (for both me and MS). Adcenter is quite frankly an embarrassment, and MS is likely leaving millions on the table in lost revenue due to this poor software.

Even if they can't fix Adcenter (it probably needs to be done over again from scratch), I have a suggestion for MS: let people import their Google campaigns in just one click. If you can accomplish this you will get 90% of the benefit with a fraction of the work. Everyone is managing their campaigns in Adwords anyway, they don't want to use Adcenter, but would do so if you can provide and easy way to move things over in one click.

Google Adwords is probably the most powerful and elegant advertising platform ever developed (no exaggeration). You can with a few clicks be showing ads to millions of people all over the world in 10 minutes. Or you can be narrow your focus on only display ads to specific sites in a 10 miles radius. They now incorporated other mediums like newspapers, TV, and radio too. The learning curve for it is probably a little steeper than most Google products, but it's still much easier than competing products like Microsoft Adcenter.
