I've noticed a lot of first time entrepreneurs make the mistake of thinking because they are good at something (baking, fashion, etc) they should start a business around it (I used to think this way as well). This book does a great laying out why it often doesn't work to turn your hobby into a business, and why it's much more important to build a system that scales and replicates without you. It's an important realization.

I enjoyed this book as well. I didn't find the business advise SUPER practical, but the idea of making your income stream passive so you can focus on lifestyle was a huge one.

I'm not a big fan of their unassigned seats - it tends to bring out the worst in people as they rush for seats (great way to turn adults into 5 year olds). But overall SouthWest does a great job combining quality and price.

There is a really cool spot on the mountain where on a clear day you can look left and see the frozen Lake Tahoe, and look right to see the desserts of Nevada, while never moving your feet the whole time. Almost surreal to see such extremes at one time.
