The Google paid ad display is the industry standard. An ad appears along the right side of the search results page or within content pages if content search is on. Recent changes in ranking parameters concentrate not just on bids, but also on the quality and relevance of your ad and the landing page associated with your ad (and indeed your entire website). This “Quality Score” concept has led to keywords becoming inactive for search plus reports of many huge jumps in keyword pricing. |

We're fond of the Gateway DX4300-11's clever design, but halfhearted performance scores mar its overall worth. The TV tuner and 1TB hard drive may tempt you to stick it in your living room as a media center PC, but your money is better spent on the Asus Essentio CG5270-BP004. |

Sony Ericsson deserves a lot of credit for bringing music to cell phones. Though it was not the first company to develop the idea, its Walkman handsets have consistently combined a robust music player with admirable sound quality. And that was true a long time before the arrival of the ballyhooed Apple iPhone. |

Dell's Mini 10v keeps a lot of the features of the more expensive Mini 10, while dropping the price below $300. It's one of only a handful of $299 Netbooks that doesn't look and feel especially cheap. |

Pros: Good security suite. Cons: A major headache for any app using Flash Player.....which is nearly every website with video. Despite knowing of this problem, Mozilla is doing nothing to resolve the issue.

Tab browsing in set up well, download,, theme and extension management features are great; IE import is slick and easy; open source for custom theme design makes it fun to look at; built in search too Cons: Doesn't support everything yet or vendors haven't caught up to the browser for support yet. Need a form auto complete like in the Google toolbar for IE. I tried the one on the website-not as good
